Getting my pre-baby body back has been a little tougher than I thought. All those people who say breast feeding made the weight just fall off were lying! Ok, not really, they probably did have the weight fall right off of them. Breast feeding increases your calorie expenditure which can make it easier to lose weight. However, you also have to consume enough calories to produce enough milk so finding the balance to she’d weight but still feed your baby can be tough.
I was down another 2lbs this week, which seems to be consistent over the past couple weeks. While that’s not terrible, I thought I would be closer to fitting in my jeans by Thanksgiving.
For any of you that have weight to lose this holiday season, (which lasts from Halloween to New Years) don’t throw in the towel until January! Stick with it so you don’t set yourself back 10lbs on your New Year’s resolution! I’ll be right there with you trying to avoid those holiday treats so you are definitely not alone. I have some good holiday recipes posted such as my sweet potato casserole and my delicious pumpkin cookies that will help you reach your goals without making you sacrifice taste this season.
