Tomorrow marks 4 weeks post baby. I am not super excited to jump on that scale tomorrow, but it must be done. I still hope to see 5-10 lbs just vanish in a week. Then I have to remind myself how many times I have told clients that 1-2 lbs per week is a healthy weight loss and that is how it will stay off. But it seems so slow! Last week I lost a pound and a half, which was decent compared to my half pound the week before. Seems like this journey may last a little longer than I originally thought.
I have been logging my food religiously now for the past week so that has kept me a bit more accountable to myself. I still have not done a metabolic test yet because every time I try, I have to take care of the baby. Life with a newborn is amazing! Your time is just no longer your own. I still am going to try again this week and I will post the results. My resting metabolism before I was pregnant was 1250 calories, and I’m curios If the added 300 calories is accurate.
Is anyone else on a weight loss journey with me? Maybe post baby as well or just ready for a healthy change. I want you all to hit your weight loss goals!
I thought instead of a whole new post I would just add to this one from last night. Today’s result was another 2lbs. While I’m glad the numbers are still dropping, this is going to be a long road ahead!
