These little protein bars are possibly a little too delicious. I keep them in the fridge and grab one when I am in a hurry, and who isn’t these days. I work more from home now but that doesn’t mean my days are any less hectic. Some days I need a I love these because they are easy to make, taste great and use clean ingredients. So many bars out there have a lot of junk in them and they bother my stomach now when they have a lot of fillers. That being said, the quality of nutrition in these bars is only as good as the protein that you use. I personally use an undenatured whey protein that comes from New Zealand where the cows are not given hormones and antibiotics and are only milked at the time when they have a calf, not all year long like in the U.S. Undenatured means that it is not heated to a high heat where all the good enzymes are killed off. So it is more easily digestible or known as a ‘live food’.
I hope you enjoy these as much as me and my family does! (My kiddos love these ‘cookies’ too!)

I wouldn’t call these low calorie, but are well balanced and would be a good energy boost if you are running low in an afternoon on an active day. :). And they satisfy that sweet tooth!
