Today is my last shake day. I started the day with a shake and my Natural Accelerator (green tea/cinnamon/cayenne blend to help burning). Then I squeezed in a little 30 minute Metabolic Effect workout. I planned on having dinner tonight as my meal because i have 2 deep cleansing days coming up, but one of my friend’s wanted to meet up for lunch, so I ate lunch instead. We met at Panera and I had the Thai Chopped Chicken salad and black bean soup for my carbohydrate. For the salad I got the dressing on the side, and I barely used any, and I take off the wonton strips (empty cals and carbs). Then I asked for an apple instead of the bread that usually comes with it. They always have this option available.
For this cleanse I have eaten at Sonny’s, Panera, Cracker Barrel (juice day- I just had hot lemon water), Panda Express, Four Rivers, and at a birthday cookout. Doesn’t sound very much like conditions for a good cleanse. This just proves you should never ‘wait until’ a good time to start eating healthy! I hear so many times from clients that they will start eating well and exercising after this birthday, holiday. graduation, mother’s day, vacation, dinner out, wedding, party, etc. People who have this mindset will never reach their goals and maintain them unless they change it. All of those things listed above will happen to you because you need to live life and enjoy friends and family. However you don’t have to indulge every time you go out to dinner or have a special occasion.
And back to the cleanse, I had my shake tonight and made dinner for Robbie. I also ate some of the cabbage and mushrooms I made for dinner. During the shake days I have added some extra veggies and fruits. These shake days are not hard like I have said before, but I am not 100% looking forward to the cleanse days. Just 2 left! Here we go!
