The wedding was yesterday and it was beautiful! And for the record I was really sore in my glutes from all the squats and lunges and lats from all those push-ups! I was pretty surprised I was sore because I had been lifting heavier and the last workout was only body weight! (Only a billion reps!)
It has seemed that I have had a little time most mornings after breakfast and during Roxy’s nap to sneak in a little exercise. I changed up Friday’s workout a little bit by switching the regular squats and lunges to jumping squats and lunges.
It looked like this:
The jumping lunges and squats got my heart rate up a bit, so I broke a pretty good sweat.
Sneaking in a quick workout each day has felt great. I really only have been doing about a 30 minute workout, so it doesn’t take up a large part of the day at all. When I get a good workout, it helps me keep my sweet tooth in check too.
The rest of the day was spent with family and it is so much fun! Here is a pic of Roxy climbing her first tree. Ok, not climbing, but positioned in a tree!
