I made these the same night I made the Almond Joy chocolates. I made them for my husband since he doesn’t like coconut, but loves Resee’s Cups!
I saw this recipe on www.tasy-yummies.com. I took out the chia seeds from the almond buyer inside, but only because I didn’t have any on hand. They would be a good nutritional add if you want to add a Tbsp in to the filling.
Almond Butter inside:
*1/2 cup chilled organic unsalted almond butter (or any other nut butter or seed butter of your choice)
*2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
*a pinch of fine grain sea salt
-Slowly melt chocolate and add oil. Once melted add syrup and stir.
-Pour half chocolate in mini muffin tin then put in freezer.
-Mix almond butter ingredients together and put about 1 tsp in each muffin tin once chocolate is hardened.
– Pour remaining chocolate over peanut butter and freeze again.
Enjoy 1 at a time! (Ha!!)
